Content-Type Metatag ist die Seite UTF-8 oder ISO-8859-1?

Ein nicht zu verachtender Metatag ist der Content-Type. Denn der Content-Type Metatag sagt dem Browser welche Art der Darstellung der Zeichen verwendet werden soll. Wird nämlich der falsche (oder kein) Content-Type angegeben, so kann es sein, dass die Seite wirklich unschön mit falschen Zeichen geschmückt wird.
